The brief

An arrival court uses a simple water edge and layered planting to guide guests from vehicle drop-off to reception.

Approach

A bronze canopy marks the drop-off and carries the guest toward the glazed reception. The still-water edge helps define the pedestrian route, while planting screens the sides of the arrival court. Day, detail and evening views explore how paving, shelter and light can make the entrance feel clear and welcoming.

Material direction

Limestone paving, bronze canopy members, a dark water edge and tropical planting give the arrival its character. Fine ceiling slats and restrained lighting add depth beneath the shelter.
